Terms and Conditions

1. About us

These terms apply to orders placed on alkimio.com, which is operated by Alkimio Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17491072) with its registered office at Unit 14 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Lytchett Matravers, Poole, England, BH16 6FH. 2. Who can buy

If you buy as a consumer, you keep all the rights you have by law, and nothing in these terms affects them.

3. Our products and services

We supply software licenses, subscriptions and related IT services. Each product page describes the license type, term, number of users or devices, delivery method and intended use. Software is licensed, not sold. Your use is subject to the license terms of Microsoft or the relevant publisher, including the Microsoft Customer Agreement for Microsoft cloud subscriptions.

4. Orders and contract

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation by email. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable or a price error has occurred, and we then refund any payment in full.

Some products show Price on request. For these, contact us and we send you a written price, and a contract is formed only when you accept it and pay.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Any taxes that apply to your order are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order, using the payment methods shown at checkout, and is processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.

6. Delivery

Delivery is digital and free of charge. Timeframes are set out in our Delivery Policy.

7. Subscriptions and automatic renewal

• Subscriptions run for the term shown on the product page, monthly or annual, and are billed in advance.
• They renew automatically at the end of each term at the price that applies at renewal, unless you turn off automatic renewal before the renewal date.
• You can turn off automatic renewal at any time by contacting us. The subscription then ends at the end of the current term.
• We remind you by email before an annual subscription renews.
• You can cancel within 7 days (168 hours) of purchase or renewal for a prorated refund, as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

8. Microsoft Customer Agreement

Before we can order a Microsoft cloud subscription for your organisation, an authorised person in your business must accept the Microsoft Customer Agreement. If it is not accepted, we cannot provision the subscription and we refund any payment for it in full.

9. Cancellations and refunds

Your rights to cancel and receive a refund are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

10. Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate account and contact details, keep license keys and administrator credentials secure, approve or decline any admin access request we send, and use the software in line with the publisher’s license terms.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to this, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data.

12. Trademarks

Microsoft, Microsoft 365, Windows, Office, Exchange, Teams, Copilot, Project, Visio, Windows Server and SQL Server are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Alkimio Limited is an independent company. We use these names only to describe the software we supply, and their use does not imply endorsement by Microsoft.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
